Mesut Ozil to Manchester United
The German will end his contract in the summer of next year, and Jose Mourinho’s side are the last club linked to him. The Sunday Mirror reported that Ozil’s agent had contacted the Old Trafford-based club, and received positive feedback. The 28-year-old worked with Mourinho while at Real Madrid, and a reunion could take place in Manchester.
Sunday Mirror has also revealed that another Arsenal striker, Giroud, will move to Everton in search of playing time ahead of next summer’s World Cup. The Frenchman is behind Alexandre Lacazette to fill the front lines at Emirates Stadium, and he is interested in strengthening another club in January to boost his chances of playing in the national team.
Alex Sandro to Chelsea
Chelsea will extend their interest in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro after failing to bring the player into the last transfer window. The Serie A club wants a 60-pound fund for the Brazilian, which prevents Chelsea from continuing to go further in pursuit.
