Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs Lower Selling Prices
Arsenal lowered the asking price for Kieran Gibbs, according to reports coming from the UK.
The media said that the talks were continuing with Watford intending to sign the 27-year-old after the Gunners finally indicated they were willing to lower the previously asked price by £ 15m.
The new price fee has attracted interested clubs including Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth and forced Watford to move on to other targets including Middlesbrough defender George Friend.
West Brom quickly ended their interest after Arsenal turned down an offer early in the summer. However, the Gunners are now considered willing to do business around 7 million Pounds Sterling after telling Gibbs that he can leave after entering the final year of his contract.
Gibbs’ own representative has held talks with Galatasaray and an unnamed German club, but he prefers to stay in England.
Related nominal final fees have not been agreed upon, but many believe that he can still leave from the Emirates Stadium before the transfer window closes on next Thursday.
